It is with great sadness that the naturalist community at large is learning about Meechy Moore's rare condition of sarcoma  (vascular cancerous tumor) in her brain. This news took place on May 30, 2014 when Meechy suffered multiple strokes due to this tumor, causing her physical and speech challenges.
