#GetWellMeechy

It is with great sadness that the naturalist community at large is learning about Meechy Moore's rare condition of sarcoma  (vascular cancerous tumor) in her brain. This news took place on May 30, 2014 when Meechy suffered multiple strokes due to this tumor, causing her physical and speech challenges. She underwent two brain surgeries and chose to courageously shaved her beautiful, lustrous natural hair to Locks of Love, a not-for profit organization for cancer patients dealing with hair loss crisis and dilemma. Please donate to Meechy Monroe's Get Well Expense Fund by clicking on this link: Meechy Get Well Expense Fund. Your assistance will make a difference.

I don't know her, but as an avid follower of Meechy Moore, I feel that I have a responsibility in assisting her in her recovery process. On that note, today I take a stand for Health. Health is a luxury, without it we are absolutely nothing. Tomorrow is never promised to us, up today, down tomorrow; that is just the way it flows. Meechy today, it could be me or you tomorrow. Please join us in helping Meechy Moore get well soon.

THE POWER OF VISION

Well, last year at around eleven o'clock in the night on January 31, 2016, I made a conscious decision to be sure to do everything different in order to achieve different things in 2017. So, to start off, I went to my first ever Vision Board Party on January 28, 2017. It was the most exciting event I had ever been to in my entire life. It brought so much joy, happiness, and great clarity for more vision. I was so blown away by the positive atmosphere, I did not even finish my board by the end of the event. So, you know I had homework to do. So, a week later, via searching online, I saw a church which was having a FREE Vision Board Party. I said to myself, this is indeed a great opportunity for me to attend that event in order for me to finish my board. I instantly was motivated to be there. So sure enough, I attended, and not only did I finish my first Vision Board, I began another one, being more specific based on more clarity. I was overly excited. As I was at the second Visi...

HAPPY WOMEN'S MONTH 2017: Honoring Frantzlie Vaval

My name is Frantzlie Vaval, I was born in Montreal, Canada and moved to the United States when I was 13 years old with my family. I must say it was difficult adjusting to a new culture and language.  Looking back, I can say that I conquered many adversities, and always knew with God and family, I would be able to overcome them. I was raised in a Christian home and I see the values that were instilled in me helped me become the woman that I am today.  I currently work as a Public Health adviser. I enjoy working with different communities, and helping people in need of advice. I also work as a Realtor agent, since I enjoy helping others find a place to call home. There are different things that I enjoy doing, but I can truly say that I have a passion in music. I was raised around musicians, my father is a choir director, my mother, sisters and I all sing.  I currently direct a choir as well. I guess I followed in my father's footsteps.  One thing I re...
