Cherie Dortch is a Mental Health Professional with an in depth training in psycho-dynamic psychotherapy. She received a dual bachelors degree in Psychology and Sociology at CUNY Queens College, where she graduated with honors. Cherie received her Masters Degree in Clinical Social Work from Fordham University, Lincoln Center. She then continued her pursuit to further her professional knowledge and clinical expertise at the New York School for Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis. Cherie has a successful psychotherapy practice in Garden City, NY. She has appeared on internet talk shows on Madhouse TV, and has also had the opportunity to produce her own show which she also hosted, “ Men and Depression: From Suicide to Life ,.” highlighting the need for more men, specifically men of color, to seek professional mental help.
