As a Breast Cancer Survivor, Lounick Perony is committed to creating fun filled events in order to fundraise for Breast Cancer Awareness. After receiving the news that I would be hosting Precious Pink Memories, my first thought was, "What am I going to do with my hair?" As a naturalist for the past three years, I've been wearing many different styles of kinky twists. I did not want to look the same for the event. I felt that I needed to step up and demonstrate some creativity of my natural beauty and charm. As I envisioned, I came up with a Mohawk, but I was not sure of how the front was going...

One more day left of my "FROLICIOUS" week! Ladies and gentlemen, let me share with you that the afro is a conversation pieces. It attracts. People stare and smile, watching you pass by... Some comment, "So, Afrocentric... Nice!"  It was an honor to experience such positive attention. I receive so many request to touch it.
