| "HAPPY BLUE DAYS"
Yesterday was one of my "Happy Blue Days"- a day that I simply choose to play with the color blue by coordinating my makeup, lipstick and clothing. This is how I achieved this look:
1. After part drying my face, I applied a small amount of Haitian Shea Butter to my palm and rub it on my face as a base. Haitian Shea Butter is a light-non greasy of Haitian Castor Oil and
2. Apply Bourjois Loose Powder, a transparent, matt finish product for the face, perfect for fall and winter season. That's how I achieve my sleek skin look, besides drinking water daily.
3.Then, proceeded by applying midnight blue eyeliner with blue eye shadow- you may pick any shades of blue from any brand. I use the cheapest found in beauty supply stores, and/or local drug stores.
4. Then, applied a lip therapy to alleviate chap lips; used a plum lip liner (no need to purchase a blue one). The lip liner will not show under lipstick color; it is just to begin the frame of the contour of your lips. Purchase any shades of blue you may find a local beauty supply store or local drug store. I used Nicka K. New York with vitamin E. The color is Smalt #999. And, that's it! Feel free to email me your "Happy Blue Days Look" at martinemayas@gmail.com to be featured on my blog.
