My story begins in the heart of Brooklyn, NY where I was born, and raised learning to adapt to many situations; the good and the bad all in God's order creating the woman I am today.

I relocated to Long Island at 17 years of age. Now a young mother, a dreamer seeing the future eager to become the best version of me. I carried my trade of doing hair from Brooklyn to Long Island. I knew I had a gift with creating great hair, so I believed, and landed a job as a hairstylist at a salon, where I learned so many things about the professional aspect of the business.
I am forever grateful to have spent more then 10 years with those great women.

I later decided to become a licensed cosmetologist, so I can have the flexibility to freelance, and work where I desire. Becoming a Master hairstylist working with all hair types, I studied under so many great Masters venturing off a little to become a license nurse's aide for a short time within my journey has truly been beyond what I ever could imagine.

Now a wife, mother, and owner of POZE hair salon, I continue to set goals for myself dedicating my life to Christ first.
I'm excited about what's next.

As I've taken the time to meditate for the past month during the transition of season, I've realized that I've grown a whole lot. I am such a better person today, then I was yesterday, last month, last year... I've improved so much by simply becoming familiar with my state of being, sense of style, and personality. I've learned a lot about myself and embraced myself as my own best friend. I must share that it has been the best personal experience I have ever had in so long. My mind has developed and broadened into creative thinking. Since then, my dreams have been coming true, one after the other. What was once lost is now gained by simply knowing myself as I am. I am now all smiles, walking a path with a new destination. The beauty of it is that I did not need anyone to do anything for me to acquire this new found sense of happiness, peace, freedom, and joy.
